"The cabin was peaceful with a view of the river and just a few blocks from Lake Superior. We enjoyed walking to the ice cream shop near Lake Superior and walking around the neighborhood, as well as paddle boating and grilling at the cabin. The cabin was close to plenty of waterfalls, boat tours, hikes, and other activities so we could easily stop back between activities. The only part I didn't love was the floor didn't seem very insulated (it wasn't cold but sounded loud for walking and my kids are stompy in general). However, the sliding door was right there with convenient chairs to step outside and grab some peace when it got loud. It was a chillier and wet few days but we stayed toasty warm inside "

"Very helpful front desk clerks. Helpful upon check in to tell us what to see and do in Munising. Recommended food truck in parking lot for really good pizza delivered fresh and hot to our table in the lobby area the first night. The second day we went to book the boat tour, but the boats hadn't gone on the lake for the last 4 days due to high winds and waves. The staff couldn't guarantee the boats would operate the next day, either. When we checked in with the desk clerk on Sunday,we thought it best not to stay another day. The clerk gave us a phone number for contacting Expedia (who had our reservation in the Boarders Inn system), and suggested that we might be able to get a refund on the room if we decided to leave early. We had trouble contacting Expedia, they didn't recognize our booking number for cancellation, perhaps because we were currently one night in the stay. But the clerk got through to cancel our room, and we are very grateful for her help. We will definitely stay there again due to quality hotel and great helpful staff. "

"My daughter and I had an amazing stay! This was the perfect spot for chasing waterfalls around town. Halfway between Marquette and Munising we found so many and had a day at Pictured Rocks. This house is perfect for pets too. House was clean, beds were comfy and the hot tub was an added bonus. Thanks for the hospitality. One thing I would recommend is make sure you bring coffee. "
