"This property was in an ideal location on the shore of Lake Superior. It was reasonably handy to the closest town (about 15 minutes) and it was pretty easy to get to. Owners/managers were very responsive to all questions we had and the property met our needs very well (5 adult couples)."

"This is my second time staying at Da Big House. It's great if you have a big group with 2 bedrooms up and 3 down. Bathrooms are nice and wonderful hot water and awesome water pressure in the showers! There's lots of room to play games or have a fire in the fire pit; and there's also room to spread out and have some alone time. A 2 block walk and you're on the beach. The AuTrain river is awesome to kayak (did that last stay, a bit chilly to do in mid-September.) Other attractions are close by in nearby Marquette or Munising. House was clean, well stocked and had everything we needed. There was even a garage that fit our Ford 350 and ample parking in driveway."

"Everything was excellent. Neat, clean and spacious. We felt very comfortable the moment we arrived. The hosts greeted us upon our arrival, assured us if we needed anything they were available. The cabin is very well stocked from kitchen supplies to many extra blankets. It is well furnished, and just what is excepted of a northern cabin! The fire pit right at the waters edge was perfect with enough seating for a much larger party than ours. The location between Munising and Marquette is very convenient too. When we weren't fishing in the river we did some site seeing. Would recommend."
