"We loved everything about the Sofitel! The room was wonderful we specifically liked the tub integrated into the room, but with privacy if you need it, with motorized blinds. State of the art lighting , best bedding, great distribution of the space in the room, classy and efficient, top quality fixtures, comes with Bluetooth speaker. Equally important was the service, specially Nicole Thesenvitz at the reception who helped us and went the extra mile (more like 10 miles) for us! WOW best service ever in a hotel and we have travelled a lot. Thank you Nicole! "

"Only one restaurant for dinner but it was excellent! Ask for the pesto pasta w grilled chicken throw in a side of grilled veggies. Definitely Ask for the bread! Best homemade local bread in all Bavaria 😀. Was divine! Only minus for the hotel was the teeny tiny pillows and only one per person. Was very odd after being in three hotels with giant European fluffy pillows. altogether a really cool hotel. Would recommend. "

"It is a short walk to the German Museum and an art museum. Across the bridge and you are close to the Marienplatz. Only negative was the high price 28euro for the breakfast buffet, but there is a “city option” that is good. Food was good quality."

"This hotel is very nice for a great price. A lot cheaper than other places around the same location. Great location, very close to the train station and the Marienplatz. From the outside it doesn’t look that great and the neighborhood looks lived in as well. But once you’re inside everything is much nicer. Fancy restaurant/bar, the rooms are nice too. Nice pool area. The fitness center is a little bleak if you’re into working out on vacation. The breakfast buffet is top notch too. Would definitely stay here again. "
