"We had a wonderful week. The house is beautiful and fit our needs nicely. We spent most of our time in the upstairs floor & loft but the dehumidifier is a big help in the bottom floor. Having TV’s & ac’s on all 3 floors, we were able to keep it cool during severely hot & humid days. As we do not have our own boat or kayaks, we weren’t able to use the dock which was a bummer. The only complaint I have is that the upstairs dishwasher is not secure. It works, just tips when loading and unloading....

From the host, Gary, who is not only attentive, but thought and super professional to the cleanliness and amenities of the property, this is truly a gem. So often a “beautiful water view” is described, but this is the first time the view was BETTER than described. It was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The filter on the fridge for the water needed replaced. The skillets were teflon and flaking, so not really desirable for using but we had to anyhow."

Sound did not seem to travel so our young kids could sleep on one end of the house while the adults socialized. And the common areas were big enough for a whole family to congregate. "Having off street parking was great. Simple but clean interior with nice design touches. Older home so 2nd floor is dormered which might be problem if very large or tall. Overall felt like a home with a lot of care that went into it. Older neighborhood but street was quiet and we felt safe. Various shops and stores within a mile if you wanted to cook, eat out or forgot to bring something. Simple but clean and well appointed."

They had special touches everywhere and so many things to do around the area or just enjoy the views and home. Our dogs loved running around in the fully gated yard.
