Pictures are a far cry from reality

When we walked into weed smell filled apartment at 5 since it wasn’t ready at 4, we were met with a non working, flickering busted keypad, prison style gate and homeless people sleeping in alley. Lucky for us someone was walking in when we were trying to get in building. That being said, neighborhood overall is not great, I would never stay here again.

It was OK

Got the job done. We needed a place to stay for baseball tournament. It was safe. Neighbors were loud one night but manager took care of it quick. Apartment pool was very dirty had green looking slime. Kitchen not stocked. Don’t come prepared to cook or clean. Didn’t even have dustpan. Good location walking distance to some cool places. Owner was very quick to respond to my questions on Vrbo.

My staycay

Everything was great except for not being able to park inside versus outside. There wasn’t an up to date parking pass. I was asked if I wanted to come get it at another location and I refused. It was too far and it was my bday weekend. In my opinion that should have already been there. Everything else was really good.

Helpful Information

Overall our experience was extremely positive. The apartment was comfortable and located in a great place nearby the city and tons of amazing places. The communication from the property manager was thorough and consistent. On the other hand, here are some facts: the listing mentioned that it sleeps 6. However, the air mattress provided would deflate by the time morning approached. We also ran into some hiccups being that we were preparing thanksgiving dishes and did not have all of the necessary tools and cookware that most Vrbos provide. The mattresses were quite hard and the tvs were smaller than they seemed in the pictures. We almost felt there was not much time and effort placed into the comfort of their guests. As far as the cleanliness, the overall apartment appeared to be clean. However, the kitchen counters were grimy as if they had not been thoroughly cleaned in a while. Even though the grime was not visible to the eye. We did have a slight issue with not really being able to take a hot shower due to the water not getting warm/staying warm. But overall we enjoyed our stay.
