This booking is for Unit A of The Griffin House. The Griffin House is a BRAND NEW Vrbo hosted by our family of Atlanta natives in the up and coming Vine City neighborhood near downtown.

Unit A is a private, complete upper-level unit within a duplex property providing all the essential amenities for your stay.

The Griffin House offers a full home with all the essential amenities spread across the house with 2 patios.

Interior:
Your 5-star stay begins the moment you walk into the cozy living room of this unit in The Griffin House. A handcrafted entertainment center complete with fireplace, bookshelves and storage cabinets is framed by a stylish but comfortable sofa and set of arm chairs. A casual dining area accompanies the entertainment space. Across from the dining area is the galley kitchen, which is stocked to the brim with various cookware, dishes, a Keurig coffee machine, and other necessities. The entire common space - living room, dining area, and kitchen - boasts hardwood floors and lots of natural light for bright and comfy living.

Beyond the kitchen to your left is the first guest bedroom. Each bedrooms sleeps 2 people, and this one does so with separate twin beds conjoined by a custom-built double headboard, a closet and comfy UGG bedding. Right across from this room is a full bath (shower/tub and toilet) with blow dryer and basic toiletries included. The full bath is shared by another guest bedroom including a queen bed, workstation and closet.

Tucked away in the back of the house is where you will find the primary bedroom. This flagship guest room boasts a king bed, en suite bathroom with walk-in shower and towel warmer and a walk-in closet. Guests may access the private terrace from this room and, depending on the season, catch a glimpse of the iconic Atlanta skyline just beyond your backyard!
Laundry units are accessible via the hallway outside the unit and are offered free of charge.

Please note that accessing the property requires navigating a steep driveway, which might pose challenges for elderly individuals and young children _______________________________________________Exterior:
There is a private front balcony accessible from the living room and a smaller back terrace connected to the primary bedroom. There is also a shared backyard that is accessible by guests of both units. Please note that the exterior spaces (balcony, terrace, backyard) are not yet furnished or manicured for use. Located in the Historic Vine City neighborhood, you will have the privilege of staying just a block away from the house where Rev. Dr. Martin Luther and Coretta Scott King raised their family on Sunset Ave. Unfortunately, due to decades of neglect from city government and developers, Vine City has long existed as an underserved neighborhood instead of a treasured historic landmark. You will likely see some empty houses, vacant lots, and other signs of systemic neglect as you drive through. However, you are just as likely to see children playing, families gathering, and property owners working to rebuild the community that they’ve loved for generations. This is a rapidly improving area, but we are glad to share that previous guests report feeling safe and undisturbed by noise while staying with us. We are confident that you will enjoy your stay with us, but if any part of what I’ve described is concerning for you, please take that into consideration before booking the Foundry House for your Atlanta stay.
