Check in lines were awful! However someone did offer us water. We reserved a King room our credit card was charged that morning for a King but upon arriving in our room it was a double! This was an anniversary trip. I called down and was told there was nothing else available. Well my card was charged that morning. I am sure there was a King available then. A second call down to the desk and I was told to come down to the lobby and speak to a manager. Was passed from person to person and was told sorry. Finally after 40 min we were given a king room. Total time for getting what we were supposed to have took almost 1 1/2 hours! Made us late for a concert. The elevators were down to one working took 12 min to finally get to our floor and that was after they told us to use a service elevator past nasty laundry carts and trash. VERY DISAPPOINTED in our stay this time. May look for another downtown hotel next time.
