"We are visiting family who live down the lane. When we first arrived they had us in a room above the entrance. Since it was warm we kept the windows open but unfortunately could hear people as the exited the building. The owner allowed us to move to a quiet room. The owner,Dave, is wonderful. Allowed us an early check in. Dave is also the chef and did a stellar English breakfast!"

"The hotel was clean, friendly and good value, the continental breakfast was plentiful. The staff were great and we got a parking permit which was great. However there was scaffolding around the building and around 9 am on the second day there was hammering and banging almost outside our window. We were not informed that this would be happening. "A lovely place to stay, our room was very cozy and clean and smelt lovely. The breakfast was very good. What you have to take into consideration is, it is a working farm so not everything is going to be squeaky clean. I enjoyed my time there, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again."

I really hope you are paying her enough because she is a gem! Nothing was too much trouble even won over my usually reserved, sons. So helpful , so attentive to all guests.
