Nicos and his dad in adjoining property were helpful and genial hosts providing us with all the information we needed to get around etc. the resort area of varkitsa was ideal for all our needs with a good serviced beach resort compound plus a nice harbour area with restaurants in the evening. we found the food in the restaurants excellent with good prices/value to be had. we did a day trip to Athens...

"I'm not giving a 5-star rating because the hot tub wasn't working and some areas of the outdoor spaces could have been neater. We enjoyed our stay here, but feel that use of the word luxury in the description is a stretch "

"Very tidy and lovely apartment fully equipped. A great host and always willing to support. Area is Very nice and peaceful. Our stay has been more than expected!"

"The property was excellent, exactly as described, spacious and well appointed. We were comfortable as a family of six. The garden and terrace were a nice addition. The surroundings are quiet and near public transportation as well as a beach."

"The stay was absolutely painful. First meeting with the property manager and he told me I owed another 900 eu in fees. Highly illegal and I will let VRBO know. In our tour; told me I have to turn off the hot water boiler in 3 days. 2) water in the home was not drinkable and to get my own. Weather was apx 100* during the week. We spent several hundred dollars just on water. 3) Faucets clogged in kitchen sink and walk in shower. Water sprayed all over the kitchen counter and all over the bathroom...

"We had a lovely stay in Vari! The house was the perfect spot for our family both in its location and appointments. It was very easy to walk to the beach, restaurants, and markets and a quick drive into Athens. The house and grounds itself are amazing….the pool was great for the heat. It is very well appointed and the host was very responsive."
