Fantastic location. Close to airport but secluded. Beautiful surroundings with a pastachio orchard. House was gorgeous. Nice deco, outdoor patio, wonderful customer service. Complimentary wine. Had a great stay. The host was extremely helpful and very nice. The meal that was prepared for me was excellent, homemade and so delicious. The whole place is is well decorated and very welcoming. My next visit to Greece, I will plan to stay longer at this amazing spot.

The Varaba Country House was an absolute gift to find. Warm and welcoming, it’s an oasis away from the hustle and bustle in Athens. Not only was the home cooked dinner delicious, you have a table looking out over olive trees, and if you want, you can start up a conversation with other travelers. Our room was beautiful, and breakfast was a treat. Definitely recommend if flying out of Athens airport, only 12 minutes away. Also, sweet animals (Bruno the pup!) will say hello!

Very quaint small B&B like property in the countryside. We chose it because of its proximity to the airport, because we had a very early flight the next morning. Limited staff but very friendly and helpful. Provided access to dedicated taxi service, but it was not complimentary. Provided nice family style dinner for a reasonable price. Planes were noticeable at night, so bring ear plugs if that would bother you. We left before breakfast the next morning so cannot comment on that. Overall a very relaxing stay. Would stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful property ! Common areas we wish we'd had time to enjoy - TRUE "Country house" ! orchards of pistachio trees and grapes growing, etc. Unfortunately, we arrived late during a rainstorm AND had to depart very early the next morn for our flight. I wish we could spend a coupek of days there!

Very quiet despite being right next to the airport. And yes, it's perfectly located for a layover from/to ATH as long as you keep in mind that you'll need a taxi for getting to and from the airport. Varaba is top-notch, when it comes to the communications and response time.

Could I please make this a 6 star review? We landed in Athens after a day of flying and having a beautiful Mercedes car waiting to take us straight to our room at the boutique hotel….bliss. Having an ABSOLUTELY delicious home made dinner waiting for us on the romantic patio…amazing. Local wine with dinner, great healthy breakfast, lovely clean modern room and bathroom. The entire building is surrounded by orchards. And by the way only 15 minuets to Athens airport. Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Great communication before we arrived. We will always make this our stop in Athens.

Beautiful little hotel a short ride from the airport. We were a party of 11 and had 6 rooms, all unique, all spacious by Euro standards. Pristine condition, exceptionally clean. We had dinner there upon arrival and it was not only an excellent value, but excellent food as well. Staff is friendly with perfect English. Beautiful 12th century chapel across the street. I never leave this positive a review, but this place is exceptional.

The house is situated in the middle of breathtaking nature views and history. Beautiful, cozy, clean, and well maintained house. It’s clear that the host take good care of the house and its guests. Excellent communication and super friendly staff that went out of the way to accommodate us. They offered a shuttle from the airport and a delicious dinner that was served beautifully. What a perfect ending to our time in Greece. We chose this property based on its proximity to the airport, but it honestly ended up being one of our favorite things we did on our trip. A charming setting in the country, an adorable ancient church right outside the front door and a delicious meal shared with the other folks staying on the property that night. Our room was just beautiful, the highest quality of amenities and it felt like a luxury property. The staff was efficient and friendl. We will definitely be including a stay at Varaba Country House on our next visit to Greece!

located in the middle of the olive tree farm？but 10mins drive to the airport. Room is OK but the strong paint smell of the in- room stairs made my friend heavy headache. Breakfast was disappointed，one cold boiled egg and some cereal，I wish they can supply some ham or bacon.
