Excellent location and a top notch staff! The staff was amazing from booking to arranging transportation. They were tops! The hotel is in a great area. The street out front is super narrow so mainly foot or bike/motor bike traffic. It’s a really neat boutique hotel — 20-30 years old with great design details. Unfortunately there are things that no longer work that need updating, but all in all everything else makes up for it. Breakfast is delivered to the room. Some breads and cheese and lunch meat with juice and milk. Not what I’d order, but the thought was there. The in-room coffee/espresso maker was nice too. One thing that’s weird is the door key. It’s an actual key and you only get one. Kinda tough for a family of three to manage. And the thermostats in the room don’t work so you have to call the front desk to adjust the temperature…but they’re always there and super polite.

Absolutely Exceptional Stay – 5 Stars! We had the most incredible experience at MET34 Hotel in Athens. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of the city, making it so easy to explore all the major sights, shops, and restaurants on foot. The apartment itself had everything we needed — spacious, modern, and thoughtfully equipped, making it the perfect home base during our time in Athens. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Every request was met with warmth and efficiency, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. On our final day, we had an early 5am departure, and to our surprise, the team thoughtfully prepared us a delicious breakfast picnic to take with us — a small gesture that meant so much and perfectly summed up the care and attention they offer every guest. MET34 is a gem in the heart of Athens, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly, highly recommended!
