Charming, clean, and great location. We loved staying here and travel often to Athens and would love to book again. The location is very close to downtown yet it's tucked away in a woodsy beautiful setting and you feel far away from the city. Absolutely perfect.

I LOVE this cute little cottage, it was perfect for our family of four. It had everything we needed and it is in such a charming neighborhood, yet you feel like you are out in the woods. We will definitely be back!

The home was clean. It was nice that the home is secluded but in the midfle of everything Athens had to offer. It is an older home, but i liked that and really appeciated that there was an entire history of the cottage and the surrounding homes in the binder with checkout instructions.

What a neat property. It was like staying in a rustic mountain cabin right in the middle of Athens. Beautiful, peaceful, quiet setting but in an incredibly convenient, central location. Our dog loved walking around the property and looking at the deer we saw. We highly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

This cabin was great in how it was tucked into this beautiful wooded area. We stayed here on a business trip. Great place to come back to after a busy day. Wish we had more time to enjoy the outdoors. There is plenty of outdoor seating. We enjoyed our stay.

Even though the owners stay right there, they give you your privacy! If you enjoy quiet and secluded space, THIS IS IT!! It definitely gave me a camping experience in the city!! And it was so conveniently placed where everything was within a five minute drive

We enjoyed the cottage in the woods. So peaceful. Our dogs enjoyed exploring the property especially running down the hill that emptied into a stream. You don't even realize that you are in town when you are at the cottage. Great place to relax!

Lynnette was a very good host. The cabin was older but in good shape. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and and woodsy location of the cabin (like being in the mountains), yet close to most everything. Suggestion: The burners in the gas grill definitely should be replaced, if not the entire grill. Overall, well worth the price and we would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Athens. Where do I start? This cabin was PERFECT. The views, the location, the secluded feel in the heart of Athens was everything! There were deer in the yard and a Christmas tree in the living room. It had everything we needed and even things we didn't know we needed (a keurig AND a coffee pot?!) Home away from home indeed. No other place to stay when visiting in Georgia. We'll definitely be back!

The living room is lovely. Kitchen very well equipped Need a light in dining room. Porch needed pressure washing. Very beautiful out there. We’re all over 80. Wanted to visit and play games. A little trouble getting in and out. Not bad. Needed to know about downstairs bedroom. Very difficult. Bed leaves much to be desired downstairs. Upstairs fine. Lovely all in all. Close to everything. Get up early and you may see a 7 point buck & family coming up the wash. Be careful on driveway in evening as there are deer grazing. Unbelievable that this place is in middle of town but feels like out in the woods. Can hear traffic but is a low hum you don’t notice after awhile. My daughter and I greatly enjoyed our stay. Georgia is a beautiful state and there is a lot of things to do.

We booked here because the owner was so dog friendly. The house is in the woods hidden from everyone in Athens. I lived in Athens most of my life and had no idea the houses were back there. There was an opportunity to see huge deer and a few babies. The house was clean but did have a slight moldy smell, it’s in the woods, I expected that. There were damp rid bags hanging in multiple places that needed to be replaced. The owner was quick to respond to an issue we had. We’d stay here again in the future.
