My favorite hotel we stayed at in Greece. We stayed in room 5 on the upper level. So clean, and modern. Love all the tile and stone. We had our own kitchen, living room, bedroom and terrace. AC worked well, tasty breakfast put out every morning. This apartment style stay made us feel like we were living in Athens vs a hotel with a front desk. Owners were very communicative and we were provided with front entrance door code, wifi, etc. 15-20 min stroll into plaka and all the restaurants. Would Def stay again.

Comfortable beds, clean and well supplied kitchenette & bath areas, great breakfast included, very helpful and friendly staff, quiet inner courtyard. Our room was street side to a busy street, but with windows closed it was very silent. Would definitely recommend it!

Athenian Yard Suites is a very charming family-run hotel! Eleftheria is very nice and welcoming and makes sure you have a good experience by giving recommendations. The city center and the Akropolis are in walking distance and in the area of the hotel are some good coffee and dinner options as well. The rooms are nicely decorated and super clean. Also the breakfast doesn’t keep any wishes unfulfilled. Will definitely come back!

The host was wonderful. Always very kind and great at communicating with us. The breakfast was always amazing. If they served lunch and dinner we might have never left to see the rest of the city. The location is good with a short walk to everywhere, but not right in the busy tourist area. You get a more local feel and quieter cafes in the immediate area. We are very happy to have stayed here and will again the next time we are in Athens.

Pros: Our room was located away from the noise of traffic. Breakfast was good. Staff are friendly and informative. The property is well maintained. Cons: for those who bring big luggage, this is not user's friendly for you have to carry them throigh the stairs. Overall: this place is excellent and is a walking distance to every historical points of interest.
