Nestled in the foothills surrounded by olive orchards at about 1100 feet above sea level. We were there for 18 days. We discovered a Taverna (Mina's) in Garazo about 15 minutes away. "We have stayed at the Sea- esta beach 3 times and it never changes .It is spacious and the veranda is big and well equipped for outside dining. The beds are very comfortable with good quality pillows and bedding. The beach is on your doorstep the restaurants are friendly and typical Cretan but what makes it so special are the people they go above and beyond to make your holiday special. "The hosts, Julie and Manthos, went out of their way to help us settle in, giving loads of local information and suggestions of places to visit. Julie was always on hand to help and gave us lifts to and from the village. The house was perfect, the balcony and view especially.
