"The property is a little run down but clean. The staff was rude when we were trying to check in. My husband and kids were behind me checking in and were told they couldn’t be there and shooed them away and then when my family moved down the hallway to wait me for me they came and asked them to move again. But no recommendation of where we would wait."

"The room is super clean very tidy. Everything was very nice in the room. The view was amazing. The staff were kind of awkward, not very fashionable and not very talkative to tell us too much. They’re not Tattoo friendly at all so if you have a tattoo don’t go there cause you won’t be able to use the spa or the pool. It is family friendly."

"The staff were great from the get go, really welcoming and informative. The dining experience was so special with delicious foods (kudos to the chef). The onsens (2 inside, one outside) were wonderful. And the location was amazing—-a great view of Mt Fuji from our room!! Absolutely recommend."

"Our room was just massive, so huge, with a gorgeous view overlooking a golf course. This is an excellent spot if you want to golf and relax. It is a bit isolated, and it is a bit dated and could likely use a bit of a refresh, but the large room and view was worth it. There is also an onsite onsen (Japanese bath)."

"Beautiful gardens and traditional Japanese rooms. Onsens are wonderful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only problem is that the hotel is quite isolated, so you must rely on the hotel shuttle to drive up/down from the local bus route. Other than the hotel restaurant, there are no other restaurants/convenience stores anywhere close (15-25 minute bus ride away). Not many taxis in the area either."
