"Iconic place filled with historical and majestic vibes. Everything was great. Food was delicious. The piano player at 1902 restaurant at dinner was phenomenal playing um Kalthoum and other classic Arabic music. Really memorable. The staff is polite and extra kind and gracious. The wooden stairs were not so clean and had webs at some corners."

"Excellent stay, and very well looked after. We were sceptical having read some reviews, but in comparison to similar stays across the country it is in line with expectations. While the furniture in the bedroom was slightly dated, it was spotless, comfy bed, and excellent shower. Air con was great. Pool area was wonderful, especially after a long day. There were some bugs but this is normal considering it is next to the Nile. Didn't put us off getting in during the 45 degree heat! Breakfast...

"I was worried after reading the reviews, but we had a junior suite, the room was perfect. Yes might have been a little dated but the view was amazing, the staff were amazing. We were able to book a few things they helped with. We arrived late and the boat to get there was still running. "

"One could hardly get closer to the Nile! Superb vantage point! Apartments each have private entrance patio facing the Nile. Lovely, gracious staff greet and serve kindly. Improvements to make: clearer signage around this maze of ramps, apartments and dining rooms. In summary: a great place!"
