"La casa es preciosa y el entorno inigualable. Para nosotros sólo tiene un "pero", y es que entendemos que a la casa le falta mantenimiento y un poco más de mimo. La decoración es preciosa y se nota que sus dueños tienen un gusto exquisito, pero tiene pinta de que hace mucho tiempo que no pasan por allí, porque las maderas tienen carcoma, las puertas no cierran ni abren bien, faltan varios focos y el jardín está demasiado descuidado. "We chose this house because of the location. It is quite remote, in a very small hamlet about 10km up narrow roads. Villaviciosa is a lovely small town and worth a walk around. The hamlet of Piedrafita is exactly that, a hamlet. We were hugely disappointed that the local bar/eatery had suffered a fire and was out of action for the foreseeable. That was a shame because it was only a couple of hundred meters away from our accommodation. The nearest place to eat is a 20 minute walk to the next...

"We had a very relaxing stay at Casa Sira, which is a beautifully restored traditional house with all the modern comforts. The house is well equipped, and tastefully furnished with everything you need, comfortable beds and wi-fi / Tv etc. It is set in the mountains with stunning scenery all around. "Perfect getaway from all things hectic. Simple, but beautiful, rural retreat, made a great base for exploring the foothills of Picos de Europa and further into the national park, but also close enough to enjoy the coast too. Very attentive host who made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday.
