"Great property. Apartments very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a beautiful sea view on 2nd floor. Kitchenette basic but adequate for cooking breakfast. Good shower in bathroom. Lovely pool. There is a pool bar. George the owner and his family and staff were very friendly and gave lots of information about Crete. It is about a 12 minute walk down the hill to the nearest beach Kalamaki. We didn't like this beach as it was by a busy road so we carried on walking another 20 mins to...

"Hotel is new and in great condition. Spacious room, large bathroom, great balcony only a few meters from the crushing waves. Wonderful restaurant right on top of the waves. Two beautiful pools, one of them overlooking the sea and only a few meters away from it. Great beach right in front of the hotel, ultra long beach to walk either way. Only downside is the breakfast ; although it gives the basics that you expect, it does not offer any local delicacies. "

Restaurants and cafes within walking distance and a supermarkets nearby. We would definitely stay here again."

"Another great stay an Aloni! Rental car necessary if you want to travel about otherwise great place to chill by the pool. Kalathas beach 5 mins drive is best for miles around. All staff so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of area. Only 15 mins from airport but didn't notice the planes. 25 mins drive from Chania town - parking hard in the evening but until 4pm ok. Amazing sunset from apartments and pool area every evening over the peninsula to the west."

"The breakfast buffet definitely poor for a 5 star hotel, I was expecting fresh juices, only had pork, same 3 fruit options everyday and dry pastries. The beds were the worse, soo low, very uncomfortable and they make noises. The shower was tiny as well argh. And then one receptionist lady (Ioanna) if I remember her name correctly, wanted us to pay extra for parking just because, to qoute her "ooh because 5 euros is such a lot of money that you cannot pay it".
