"We had the most incredible week at the villa. The owner was so friendly and informative about the area and was on hand to sort any issues that we had during our stay. Not that we really had any! The village was an unexpected gem. Very peaceful location with two fantastic restaurants to go to, within a couple of minutes walk. The icing on the cake was when they came and cleaned the villa half way through the week. Changed the sheets, everything. Such great service. You need a car to stay in...

"Lovely house with large garden and pool, in great central location for sightseeing. Plenty of seating/loungers in sun or shade. Air con, Wi-Fi, shower and BBQ all worked great. Didn’t do much cooking in kitchen but seemed to have most things - except for an ice tray! Good quality towels and bedding, shampoo and shower gel provided. Mid week clean/emptying of rubbish very much appreciated. Lots of mini markets nearby (driving) with bigger ones on the road into Rethymno. Great restaurant...

"A truly fantastic villa both indoor and outdoor with a magnificent pool. It was even better than what you can tell from the pictures in the ad. We had a great time, also thanks to the very welcoming owner that gave us great tips for local restaurants and places to visit. We would have loved to stay a bit longer! 10 out of 10!"

"Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Villa Athene sehr genossen. Die Anlage ist traumhaft schön, ruhig, sauber und gepflegt! Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und hell. Alles ist vorhanden und die freundlichen Eigentümer, Familie Beibl, sind vor Ort! Bis zum Strand sind es nur wenige Minuten und im Ort gibt es 2 tolle Tavernen. Der Kundenservice ist ausgezeichnet! Wir empfehlen Kretafan sehr gerne weiter und kommen sicher wieder!!!"
