PROS: - great location, walking distance to some famous places of interest; - beautiful and big room - delicious breakfasts with lots of options - polite, helpful, and friendly personnel - swimming pool is large and warm - and overall just a very nice hotel CONS: - rug in a room was not very clean, could see some dirty spots on it; - room can be very very cold in winter, so have to keep a heater on all the time which can lead to a dry air; - frequent smells of food coming from the hotel kitchen (problems with kitchen hoods?)

This was my first visit to Astana, and staying at Hotel Rixos President Astana left me deeply impressed. The hotel has been around for nearly 30 years, yet it is still in outstanding condition—elegant, spotless, and extremely well cared for. While not the most modern in design, it offers everything you could want in a five-star stay, delivered with remarkable consistency. The service is world-class. Staff are professional, attentive, and genuinely warm, setting a standard of hospitality that surpasses many luxury hotels I’ve stayed in across Central Asia. When compared with top properties such as InterContinental Almaty, Hyatt Regency Tashkent, Hyatt Regency Bishkek, or even the Fairmont Baku, Rixos Astana stands out not only for its service but also for the value it offers at its price point. The Hamam spa was a highlight. The Indonesian ladies providing treatments deliver exceptional skill and care—it felt like a true experience rather than just a service. Equally impressive was the breakfast buffet, which offered everything from fresh fruit and pastries to Asian and European specialties, all beautifully presented and delicious. The all-day menu also reflects this balance of international flavors, making dining here a pleasure. In the afternoons, relaxing near the piano lounge with live music added an elegant and welcoming atmosphere, something that elevates the stay beyond just accommodation. Good hotel with a couple issues

The hotel is nice and the room was very comfortable. The service was good, as was the food. Only issues are the equipment in the gym is need of replacement and maintenance (Technogym makes the worlds worst club level cardio machines). Also most of the world no longer allows smoking indoors, specifically international hotels. I wanted to eat and have a drink in the Irish Pub but the smell and level of smoke in the air was untorlerable for a noj smoker. Its extremly unhealthy and non eco friendly, and its puts off clients. You can eat in the lounge bar instead, however, it has a reduced menu (which makes no sense considering all food comes from the same kitchen).

Hotel is in a good locatik to visit the sights. It is clean and the service was very good. The pool and spa facilities were very good. The obby restaurant had great food and we could sit next to a pianist. Breakfast had a really good selection of food and the quality was excellent. The only thing that could be improved would be a choice of fresh orange juice. I would definitely stay here again when back in kazakhstan.

ホテルのデザインはとても豪華で、客室の広さや設備も申し分ない。従業員もフレンドリーだが、客室内のコップ等の数が毎日不揃いだったり、日によって清掃が十分でなかったりした。ホテル内のトルコ料理のレストランはとれもおいしい。また、ロビー内のオープンなカフェやアイルランドパブでは、同じメニューから料理や酒が注文できる。空港とホテルの間はシャトルサービスがあり、早朝の送迎にも対応してくれ、予約した方が安心。

Rixos use to be a superb hotel In Astana-Nur-Sultan. But it is losing grounds. Best spa almost lost Balinese girls ( replaced with cheaper kazakhstanians). Swimming pool is under renovation, will see what will happen! Also it is rip-off - came with early flight at 4 am and was charged one more FULL day with incredible rate. Think twice about staying there.
