"This hotel is on a quiet side street in the town centre, very convenient for cafes and also a tram stop. Our room was air conditioned, very much needed in the summer heat. The room was spacious and had comfortable beds. We did not have breakfast due to the cost (€39) which is outside our per diem allowance unfortunately. We enjoyed our stay."

"Very good value in this popular modern budget hotel in the renovated port area of Mainz. It was annoying that there were no complementary drinks in the room (such as coffee or water) but it was good that hot food was available in the hotel at a reasonable price"

"The hotel looks a little underwhelming from the outside, the inside has kept most of its period charges. The staff are friendly and helpful, and can speak other languages. The room was clean and tidy with excellent quality bedding. Only a few minor things we expected a coffee machine but got a kettle. And the fan in the bathroom was not working. The location was good very close to the main market square and shops."

"Liked: great staff support and responsiveness, clean and also a convenient location Could be improved: only one towel hook in the room; no coffee/tea making facilities or fridge in the room. No desk. WiFi was v v slow."
