"It was a unique property in a very central location. Great bed and bathroom. I missed not having a separate breakfast room where we could have coffee and a pastry. Our window also backed onto a walkway and while they did a nice job making it private, it was quite noisy that weekend during the springfest. Not soundproof."

"Our experience at Il Granaio was excellent and we are very happy we booked our stay in Assisi with them and want to return. The unit is brand new, very clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. "The descriptin the webpage didn’t match the actual accomodation. They have a paper at the back of the room door which says that we have ti pay 10 euro if we need the sheets and towels changed but in their web description, it says that towels and sheets are changed every 2 days. They didn’t clean the room as well and it took the 4th day pit of our 5 day stay that they “clean” but the sheets weren’t changed at all. La struttura è in posizione tranquilla ma comunque vicinissima ad Assisi, l'appartamento pulito e confortevole e il Signor Marcello è un padrone di casa simpatico e disponibile. "This is a beautiful apartment and property! The views will knock you out and the place feels so beautifully historic with a gorgeous glamorous rustic design. "This was a beautiful piece of property to stay at in the city of Assisi. It was in a location that was very easy to access all the major Catholic holy sites. We took the city bus line up from the train station and were within a manageable walking distance from the bus stop. There are plenty of nice restaurants and cafes near by. A major plus was having the police station just down the block, so we felt extremely safe walking around at night."

"This property was unique in its lack of internet connection (it is the year 2022 and there are thousands of properties with connectivity around it!) and in its inability to work with a customer to make sure the customer leaves happy. "The hotel has a welcoming courtyard at the entrance. It's in a geat position just off the main plaza. Friendly and helpful staff especially Paola who was supervising at breakfast. Comfy bed and good pressure in the shower."
