On cooler days, light the wood-burning stove and cosy up on the sofa with a good book.



Start the day with a cup of coffee on the terrace and let your gaze wander over the fjord and the rolling hills. The fresh air, the light and the silence of nature create a special feeling of space and tranquillity in the morning. If you wish, you can later hop into a canoe or SUP and discover the fjord from the water, very close and very quiet. Beautiful beaches are just a short walk away and invite you to linger at any time.



Discover the beauty of nature with its smooth rocks and sheltered bays that invite you to spend relaxing hours by the water. Visit Klokkarstua and marvel at an avenue of 100-year-old lime trees. If you like wind and movement, you will find ideal conditions for kitesurfing on Verket, where the cabin is located. Or you can take the ferry to Svelvik, one of the shortest ferry routes in Norway at 148 metres. The town of Drammen, which offers various skiing activities in winter, is also within easy reach.
