"A wonderful hotel tucked into the forest in Tateyama. The rooms, onsen and especially the meals are all 5-star worthy! Take the shuttle from the station!"
"Another brand new hotel in Japan. Super friendly staff, great breakfast buffet, wonderful bed and bathroom. Great sparkling clean onsen. Very close to rail station and limitless restaurants. "
"Location is convenient - out the jr station, up the escalator and it’s the lift lobby of the hotel. It’s also right beside the dentetsu line which gets to tateyama. Room and toilet is spacious, had a comfy stay! Breakfast selection was hearty too!"
"Very very dated hotel. Hotel was a distance away from the train station so it was inconvenient to get to the hotel with luggage and then head back to the train station for meals and head back again. There was a musky smell in the room and the countertops were dusty. We borrowed a fan from the laundry room to use in the room just to circulate the air as the aircon is not working well (in addition to the smell). Washing machine was dirty and didn’t look like it has been maintained. It was raining...

"Our stay at the hotel Vischio in Toyama was fantastic. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from Toyama Station, making it easy to explore Toyama and beyond.
Our room was very clean and featured outstanding mountain views, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We also appreciated the variety of great dining options available right within the hotel complex—especially on the 3rd and 4th floors of the hotel’s mall. It was so convenient to have delicious meals just steps away from our room.
The staff were polite, professional, and always ready to help. Thank you for a wonderful and comfortable stay—we hope to return again soon!"
"Check out was smooth and good. I was able to check out early and was given a refund with a small cancelation feel. I mistakenly reserved a smoking room which was my mistake but I was unable to change the room due to no vacancies. Amenities were very good and the room was comfortable for the price. It was conveniently located and near the main station.
