"We really enjoyed our stay, so peaceful and calming, the trees blowing in the wind around us was a calming lovely sound. Our only issue was the kettle leaking every time you poured a drink and the fitted sheet was not big enough for the bed as soon as got on the bed it came off the mattress when trying to put back on you could get one side down but it pulled it away from other end so bigger fitted sheet and definitely deeper fit other than this it was amazing and just what we needed "

"It was very clean, spacious, and modern accommodation with crispy clean beddings and comfortable beds. There was a small but sufficient kitchen with a fridge, hobs, all utensils, cookware etc. There was free tea and coffee available, TV, board games. Safe, free parking was helpful. I travel a lot and I have never given 10 out of 10 to any accommodation before, but I am happy to do it now."

"50 stairs separate the loft from street level but the view is great. Nice views from all the windows except the one that opens onto the roof, which you might expect. The apartment isn't for tall people though and above 5'8" might be a little cramped. My wife and i now know how Quasimodo got his hump. That said I would not hold it against the nicely laid out apartment with its exposed 300 year old wood beams. A lovely place to stay right in the heart of the old city and immersed in history. "So glad we chose to stay at this gem of a place ! Plenty of room over 3 floors !A well fitted kitchen with table and chairs , upstairs you have 2 lovely doubles with amazing bath/shower rooms ! There is a lovely compact lounge area on the lower floor which I would describe as a basement room with a small courtyard area which could do with a plant pot or two to make it more homely but that’s my personal opinion ! Plenty of cafes bars and restaurants in close vicinity and only 10 minutes across...

"Very nice property but if we had arrived after the office had been closed, we would not have been able to get into the property. The instructions provided gave us the code for the gate but not the key safe! Please take note and ensure instructions are correct. Lots of noise from upstairs flat, to be expected as an old property but not great if you have gone away for R & R."

"Cottage is a good standard, great for a pit stop. Stayed for 2 nights. Very impressed with the Willow restaurant, gorgeous food. Piping hot, seems to be a theme around these parts, something I really appreciate! A bit disappointed that breakfast was only served until 9:30. "
