This is a relaxing small Ryokan with great food and we found it to be the highlight of our trip so far, wishing we stayed two nights instead of just one. "The room was large and the interior was very cozy and modern. It comes with an outdoor shower with a hot tub. This is a small inn/ ryokan but the owners are very pleasant and hospitable. They even drove me back to the train station because of my big luggage. The location is excellent, next to the canal and very convenient to the onsens. I plan to come back. "

"We had a fabulous stay at Hotel Kitanoya. Everything was to perfection. The onsen has both indoor and outdoor baths. You can sit under a canopy of trees and enjoy nature! Our spacious room had a picture-perfect view of the bay. The food was stupendous. Fresh, varied, and yummy. The staff are very professional and pleasant. They did everything to make our stay wonderful. The location is just a 6-minute walk to the station, and the hotel also provides a shuttle. I didn't want to leave!"

"The hotel is located in Miyazu, a short bus ride from Amanohashidate so technically, it's not in Amanohashidate. A very nice Western hotel, roomy by Japanese standards! The property is well maintained, like new. "
