"The location in the old town could not be beaten, loads of bars, restaurants and local shops. Having said that our room was so quiet so the soundproofing is brilliant. Check in was smooth and quick. Our room was well decorated, spacious and spotless, the bed was comfortable and linens a good quality. The only drawback for us was the open bathroom, although the toilet had a door the shower area only had a curtain. However this wouldn't prevent me from staying here again."

"Loved the authentic feel of the property. The staff was helpful and location right in the middle of Casco Viejo/Old Town is perfect for enjoying local cuisine, beverages, and coffee. You can walk to most landmarks or use the tram. Excellent place to stay!"

"The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, carrying my big suitcase up the steep stairs for me (I didn’t ask them to!). The agreed to us leaving luggage before and after our check in. The room was comfortable with good facilities and a great location. We were at the back of the hostel so despite building works and bars downstairs (at the front of the hostel) we couldn’t hear any of the noise. We’d stay again!"

"Staying at Aliciazzz has been great, right in the historic center, so you can walk around easily everywhere. Metro trains connect you to everywhere else, 20 mins walk along the river and you reach the Guggenheim museum. My room was cery clean and tidy, i had everything i needed. Self check in is very easy and personnel lovely. Recommended. "

"Our room overlooked a noisy busy main road and there was a railway line behind the hotel. There was no air conditioning in our room. We were told the bar would not open until 8.30. We couldn't book a table in the restaurant because a coach party was booked in but if there was room they would try to fit us in. There were no alternatives within walking distance. The photos of the hotel are very misleading. I wouldn't be surprised if they had been photo-shopped!"

"Al llegar, me recibió en recepción la mujer más amable del mundo. Me hizo sentir bien recibida y me dió un juego de llaves para la habitación y a la pensión. La habitación y el servicio: limpios. La pensión se encuentra muy bien ubicada a cuadra y media de la Plaza y la estación de metro Areeta. La zona es muy segura y bien iluminada (os digo yo, que fui a un concierto en Ereaga, regresé en metro y caminé a la Pensión a eso de la 1 de la madrugada). Montón de opciones de comida al rededor....

"I have recently returned from a 4 night stay at this hotel. As expected the hotel was basic but it is in a great location for exploring the area. The rooms can be quite noisy depending on where the room is situated and there were stains on the bed sheets and towels. When I arrived at the hotel I was told I could not check in until 2pm dispite the hotel.com website stating it was 12pm. That was the first piece of misadvertising. The second piece was stating that all rooms had air conditioning,...
