"This is a lovely reasonably priced Pension. The people are so nice. They do pick up from the airport which is great. It is walkable to and from the port and the shops, but beware, it is uphill and has steep steps, as is expected in Skiathos as it's on a hill. Fine if you don't have a suitcase but difficult if you do. The terrace on top of the Pension is stunning as you get a view over the roofs of the town. Have google translate ready when you check in as this was very helpful communicating with the owner's daughter to check us in. Ask for a ground floor room when you book. The stairs to the first floor are steep and narrow and i would not have been able to heave a suitcase up there. The room was simple but squeaky clean. So were the towels and the bedding. There is a tiny bathroom with a shower. Water was hot in the evening and warm enough in the early morning. The aircon worked. You need to bring water as the tap water in Greece can be iffy. We stayed for one night and it was ideal. "

When we left Dimitris packed us a to go snack because we were going to miss breakfast. There are a lot or return guests. "This hotel is in the best location for getting around Skiathos. Restaurants, tavernas, bars and clubs on your doorstep. A short walk to the port and harbour and convenient for the bus stops 0 and 4 to get to any of the beautiful beaches. Alex was super helpful and arranged a transfer to pick us up from the airport. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have everything you need, including free safe and air con. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a base to explore the island."

"I booked this four-star hotel for a week to celebrate my Wedding Anniversary. I am sorry to say it is not four-star and everything is old and it needs a total refurbishment. All the public areas: breakfast room- lobbies- corridors were not air conditioned because the nasty Manager would not switch it on in 40•C!! We and all the other guests could not eat the very poor breakfast in the hear. Everyone was sweating in the very sunny and unbearable room. Manager yelled at me because I complained. Everyone was afraid of the arrogant manager who only yelled and banged doors instead of switching in the aircon! I was made to pay in full before arrival-€1,400 - so I could not leave. Many tourists came out with hives over their body due to the terrible heat in the Hotel. Pool is dirty and ladder and tiles broken. Hardly any sun beds or umbrellas. Bar man won’t serve drinks and was very rude. Only four persons to staff a large four star hotel. We were totally disillusioned . I think the surly manager writes all the positive reviews! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! "
