"Rooms are basic & bed was comfortable. The bathroom was poorly designed. The door basically hits the toilet when opening and closing and you can’t shower with the door open. One of the staff members was a little rude upon checking in. She seemed like the manager because she was telling the other employees what to do but was also rude/mean to them. Work place seems toxic. There was a new front desk employee helping us and she was sweet! The lounge was nice to have. There is a shuttle that takes you to the airport every 20 min. And it’s a 5 min drive which is nice and convenient. "

"This is the best hotel if you have a departure the next day at Dublin Airport. My wife and I booked it and loved the hotel. Super super SUPER awesome staff. Airport shuttle was on time and dropped us off right where we needed. "

"My family of 4 and I had a great stay at the Marine Hotel. Out of the city, it offered a very different feeling and views from being in Dublin. The staff were really friendly! "

"Loved this hotel, it was quite far from the city center of Dublin but only about an hour public transportation. The coast around it was beautiful and the little town around it is so cute and fun to explore, there are two castles nearby to explore. There is also a sauna company on the property you can use for less than 20 euros. The staff were friendly and gave good recommendations. The pub in the hotel was also great. "

"I chose this hotel for its location near DUB and the low cost shuttle service to airport. Both met my expectations, though I had to skip breakfast - it starts at 6 AM and I was away by then. "

"The general condition of the hotel was poor and it just seemed cold and dirty with a lack of pride taken in the hotels building and the guest rooms. The Hotel room was very warm, it seemed like the heating was constantly on as the radiators were always very hot and it never felt like they were getting cooler . You couldn't sleep at night it was like a sauna. We tried to move the temperature setting on the wall gauge in our room but the gauge started to constantly make a ticking noise every 2 minutes and this went on and on for a long period of time, so we had to change it back again for it to stop ticking. There were bits of carpet missing in our room, the floor area around the door had no carpet which was a safety hazard. Toilet wouldn't flush properly. Staff were ok but could be a lot better. On a positive note the location right by the beach and sea is great and it's a lovely setting, although it doesn't really make up for the let down of the hotel as I probably wouldn't stay here again. We were left disappointed, as what we had seen on the hotel website with how the hotel, its guest rooms and the overall way the hotel is marketed was a little misleading. I never am one to leave a review and certainly not a negative one, although as we were so disappointed with are overall experience, I had to write one on this occasion. "

"This property left us feeling unsettled for our short stay there. We originally booked for 3 nights, but due to arriving early the first day, we were told we could book an additional night, so that we could check in to the property early. So we only slept in this property 3 nights, but paid for 4 nights. On arrival 2 of the bedrooms had mouse droppings on the beds, and headboards. Obviously this is a health hazard & we had a toddler with us. Thankfully the host responded quickly & assured us the home would be deep cleaned, it was then we noted more droppings in a 3rd bedroom & reported that. So on our first night there we left the property for a while, so it could be ‘deep’ cleaned, as stated by the host. On our return 2/3 bedrooms the droppings seen were gone. However the 3rd bedroom still had droppings. We had to sleep in that room that evening. Very unsettling. The following day the host had the cleaners return again. Admittedly apologies were given, but it took 2 nights out of our 3 night stay for this issue to be resolved. We are not even 100% sure the home was deep cleaned the first night, or even the bedding changed. There was no reassurance of this. Especially when we spotted the decorative throw from one of the beds, that had mouse droppings on it, thrown into a cupboard in the main living area of the home. Obviously we have reported all of this with VRBO & have photo proof of the mouse droppings. All we have been offered is 250 refund. "
