Cozy Mountain Retreat w/Chef's Kitchen

Cozy, tranquil adobe condo (Taos Home Occupation Permit number of HO-20-2022), nestled in the Sangre de Christo mountains with scenic views of the peaceful Valdez Valley. Enjoy artsy Arroyo Seco village (3 min), Taos Ski Valley (10 min), Taos (18 min), and Black Rock Hot Springs (15 min). Hiking, skiing, shopping, and rafting just min. away! Upstairs: 2 queen BRs each with en suite full baths and electric fireplaces, and balcony deck to watch amazing sunsets. Downstairs: Chef's kitchen, living room with record collection, queen sleeper sofa, full bathroom, and open area for kids to play, enjoy the outdoors, and to grill.

Note: If you're coming during the winter, it's best to have a 4WD vehicle, especially if you're headed up to the ski valley.

The condo was very nice. The kitchen was as described and we'll appointed. The living room area was very relaxing and you can sit outside or on the deck upstairs and enjoy the mountains.

Had a great stay in the general Taos area. We particularly liked the kitchen and all of its amenities. Beds were comfy, wifi worked great, and our teen was happy (haha)! The location was beautiful and perfect for our needs. We hope to return later this year.

Excellent location with everything one needs for a stay. Split level design was a bit of a challenge for one of our party. The upper balcony was great for watching the sunset. We had deer visit in the evening. Spent the mornings downstairs outside or inside by the windows watching the sunrise and the birds.

Loved our stay here. We came to ski so the location between Taos proper and the ski resort was optimal. You can tell the owners spend time here as it is well stocked and homey. If you like to cook, they have you covered! Communication was great and everything in the unit was well marked.

The condo was perfect for our stay to go skiing at Taos. The condo was clean, comfortable and had what we needed. David updated us as needed which was appreciated. Next time we plan to visit this beautiful place, we will look to stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at this spot. The place was beautiful, the beds were comfty, and the kitchen was stocked with really nice cooking utensils. The hosts were lovely, and even ordered a pack and play and made sure there was a noise maker when we said we were bringing an infant. We will certainly be back, and may even try to book again this winter!

Property as described. Completeness and the amenities are just like your at your own house. Drive to TSV 15 minutes. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything one might need. TV’s in each room and everybody gets their own bathroom, doesn’t get much better. Definitely stay here again next Taos trip.

This condo is off the beaten path. It’s quiet and a lovely place to stay. It’s is set up so well for a getaway weekend. It’s thoughtfully furnished and decorated. The beds are comfortable. If you want a fluffy pillow you might bring one. The kitchen had everything I wanted to use when cooking. There are quite a few items that have been left in the pantry such as spices and some basic supplies. It was nice to have them there. We would certainly stay there again.

The location was perfect for access to Taos Ski Valley. It is just at the base of the valley - quick access to the ski village. There are 3 bathrooms - 2 upstairs connected to the bedrooms and one downstairs in the living area. This was perfect for myself and 2 brothers who were there for 3 days skiing. About the only issue was the muddy entry from the parking lot - they need to put in some gravel or a couple of paver stones down as the only way into the unit was via muddy puddles in front parking area. But that is a small issue overall. I recommend and would definitely stay there again based on our visit.

This was a good find for three friends who enjoy their time together but also need their personal space. We each had our own bathroom and place to sleep, albeit one on the pullout couch. Well-appointed kitchen and nice living space for gathering. Enjoyed a couple of the albums available as background music for our chats. Host was a good communicator. The dog mentioned in the description was active outdoors in the wee hours, so if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs just in case that's normal for him. He's a sweet dog, just FYI re: the nocturnal barking since we'd have liked to know that ...

This condo is so well situated and outfitted as well as my own home! Quality selection of cutlery and cookware AND a nice selection of seasoning and random sauces that were appreciated (again it was another way this house felt welcoming) One of the members of our group was under the weather with altitude and was able to enjoy the living room and it’s pop up desktop of the coffee table. The floors between rooms may creak a bit but the rooms had a nice separation and voices could not be heard between. There wasn’t any firewood, so kind of bummed. Maybe bring your own just in case. Yup… we’d be happy to return

This is an excellent, clean and comfortable condo to stay in for a ski vacation/ski week at Taos Ski Valley--plus friendly, responsive hosts who want to make sure you have a great experience. The condo itself is decorated nicely with lots of attention to detail--even the knobs and handles are beautiful. The beds are comfortable. There are printed, clear instructions for everything--coffee makers, light switches, etc. And the kitchen has a variety of cooking/serving dishes/pots, as well as many items on hand (salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, spices, etc.) that are very helpful! The master bedroom has a lovely view of the mountains, as does the downstairs kitchen/living area. Taos Ski Valley is about a 17-minute drive from the condo, so it's an easy trip. In addition, the condo is less than a 10-minute drive from the cute village Arroyo Seco, which has some cute shops, coffee shops, and restaurants; I recommend ACEQ. The town of Taos is about a 15 minute drive. Great location for this condo!!!! The hosts are communicative, helpful, and responsive. My friend and I will definitely want to come back next season! I highly recommend this place.
