"This was a lovely property hosted by Marielle. We were in the upstairs bedroom but she had an elevator installed so it was no problem. The room (overlord room) had a direct view of the Bayeux Cathedral. It looked fantastic in the evening light. The room was rather overdone in the WW2 theme, but overall a very comfortable stay. It is literally across the road from the cathedral and tapestry museum with lots of shops and cafes nearby. The plus for us was laundry and an onsite car park"

"This is a lovely place to stay. Conveniently situated in a quiet street, in a village close to both Ouistreham and Caen, it makes a perfect base to explore the area. Caroline was a wonderful host and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable including finding toys for our baby to play with in the room and at breakfast. "We stayed for a couple of nights, quiet with grounds to sit in and an excellent breakfast. The town is only 5 minutes walk and has a good restaurant. We would stay here again."

"Lovely setting with large bathroom and all amenities. If you are upstairs you have to get used to the sloping roof encroaching in the bedroom, but a very small prive to pay. Owner is very friendly and makes you feel at home."

"It was a great place to relax and enjoy the hotel and countryside. I had the run of the house and kitchen. I felt like I was in my own home. I stayed two extra days and used the farm(cattle) as my base for circular drives in the area. Parking was in the courtyard and very accessible."

"The reason we booked this apartment was that they advertised baby cots, which I reserved and emailed separately to confirm. When we were arrived they confirmed a cot was set up in the room for us. However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."
