"Staff were excellent - helping us with luggage storage, and generally being friendly. Well-located, close to a bicycle / walking path, and sited about half way between the train station and downtown Meppel. Would happily stay here again!"

"Excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Parking is tight as others have said. Comfort Room was smaller than expected but fine. Close enough to the old town for an easy walk to cafes and restaurants."

"Nice location with boat rental on site but you pay more for this convenience. Cottages were nothing special but adequate for our needs - very basic amenities, bath towels were laughable as they were the size of hand towels which may be good for Chinese visitors but not larger tourists. Easy walk from end of road. Staff made check in and out very easy. No privacy at all as the cottages are very close together including campers behind the cottages. Overall ok but if we came back may look around for other options."
