Not too much of a bad area compared to other places in trinidad. The rate for the stay was reasonable esp when a light breakfast is included . Pretty close to trincity mall and five rivers made it absolutely perfect for me

Hire a driver or take a maxi taxi to get around. And if you're feeling adventurous you can hitchhike. Don't recommend it unless you are traveling with a local that you know.
