"The room was freezing, there was no phone in the room to contact reception and the night receptionist did not know a word of English. The only restaurant in the hotel, which was also the only restaurant in that area, started serving at 8:00 p.m. and served only two soups and three rustic dishes, none of which could be eaten. It didn't even have a menu to choose from, and it was immediately filled with drunken men. It was like a nightmare for a family with children."

"This is a lovely hotel. Comfortable bed and a good little restaurant. It’s not directly in the village so you have to drive down and park. It’s not really walkable. "

"The old farmhouse looks charming on the outside, with lovely buildings, surrounded by orange groves, and a lovely layout. Perched just on the edge of the village, it is a 10 minute walk to a lovely bread patisserie shop. Inside, you have a completely modernised home - the rooms are beautiful, quiet Aircon throughout, and all are en-suite. We had 4 families, mostly teenagers and parents, and we never felt on top of each other. There's plenty of space, a lovely pool, great tables to eat outside - and loads of special little touches that make it an amazing experience. Lucrecia is a lovely host, on hand to help (in many languages) but never imposing. She helped us find great places to eat, a caterer for when we wanted someone else to cook (fantastic), and made sure we had a great stay. The location is definitely rural - watch the mosquitos after 7pm (it's easy to use the fans and repellent, and they stay away during the day) and this makes it a lovely base to explore the unspoiled sea nearby. Wonderful holiday, great place to stay."
