"We enjoyed our stay in Waldstatt. The house was in a nice location for us to travel to various places in the region. We do wish there had been a charcoal or gas grill and a dryer. The kitchen was very nice and very well stocked will all the items we needed. The children enjoyed the bunk beds."

"It's really at top of the world. The cottage is at the top of Nessalu mountain top. Excellent if you want to spend time in nature. It's difficult to find so contact the owner before you go there. Owner is very friendly and very helpful. She knows only German, but she was really nice to use Google translate to talk. I want to really thank her for that. I think it's good for a group 10-15 people. But it will be amazing for a couple too."

"Old farm house with low ceilings, very thoughtfully renovated. The owners managed to keep the houses character, and yet give the inside a modern feel. We were able to to tell that a lot of thought and heart went into this. We loved our stay and would come back anytime. Our two kids loved the hidden pool and used it every single day!"

"Sehr ruhig gelegenes, schnuggeliges Ferienhaus, das zweckdienlich ausgestattet ist. Durch die beiden Ebenen gibt es eine geschickte räumliche Trennung. Äusserst freundliche Vermieter, die auch bei Problemen schnell, zuverlässig und kompetent Abhilfe schaffen. Wirklich sehr angenehme und tolle Gastgeber, bei denen wir uns äusserst wohl gefühlt haben. Im "Kinderzimmer" sind auf engstem Raum 3 Einzelbetten, für Erwachsene nicht gut geeignet. Die Matratzen sind von geringer Qualität. "Wir wurden vom Treffpunkt im Nachbarort zum Haus geleitet. Die Zufahrt war zuletzt holprig, aber man gewöhnt sich schnell daran. Belohnt wird man 1000mal mit einem Panoramablick über den Bodensee mit grandiosem Abendrot. Das Haus selbst ist so wunderschön, so vollständig und liebevoll eingerichtet, dass keine Wünsche offen bleiben: danke! Wir kommen gern wieder."

"Property was cute and unique. We enjoyed our stay. There was 2 adults and 3 children (5, 3 and 2 yr old) loft in living room was great for older child. We brought playpens for the younger ones to sleep in as the property description said they didn’t offer kid cots/beds. We enjoyed staying here and would stay again. My only suggestion would be having some extra items in the kitchen like extra garbage bags (there was only one in the trash can no extras to replace it) some paper towel or kitchen...

"We were delighted to find the space as described, directly at the lake with an amazing view. Everything was clean and comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Communication with the host was great although confusing at times as we also received communication from a German property manager in German ahead of our stay. It all worked itself out perfectly and we had an awesome stay. I especially want to recommend the restaurant below the apartment called Seesicht! Excellent food, service and view!"
