He even drove my family to purchase food at the local grocery store and offered balls for our son to kick around, overall great host. "Spent 10 days in this beautiful rustic property. Just 40 mins drive from CDG airport but set in the lovely French countryside. Great location for visiting the champagne region by car. Property had everything you would need for a comfortable holiday. Would definitely recommend"

"We were very happy with our holiday. The accommodation was historic and beautiful with plenty of room for four adults and three children. The hosts were friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. The position of the accommodation was within easy driving distance of many attractions including Disney, a water park, a medieval town and Fontainebleau. Paris is easily accessible by train. We spent a happy two weeks there despite mixed weather and would certainly recommend it."

"This Gite is one of our favorites and it was the second time we’ve stayed there. The owners are lovely and so accommodating. They provide more than you need for a comfortable vacation and true French experience. For all of you history buffs, it’s only one town over from Belleau a huge WWI site (battle of Belleau Bois). It’s so close to Paris however there’s no reason to go there since there’s so much to do in this region alone. You must have a car to enjoy but that’s true of the countryside....

"Die Unterkunft war sehr schmutzig und reparaturbedürftig. Der Vermieter hat nach unserer Beschwerde einen Teil in Ordnung gebracht. Allerdings war es weiterhin schmutzig und reparaturbedürftig. Danach wenig Entgegenkommen des Vermieters, die Kommunikation hat er dann abgebrochen und reagiert nicht mehr. Sehr schade, aus der Wohnung könnte man echt viel machen. Leider gab es auch keine Vorinformation über die Reparaturbedürftigkeit der Wohnung. Und Sauberkeit erwarte ich sowieso!"

"Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans ce gîtes très spacieux au milieu de la nature. C’est vrai que notre voiture était nécessaire, mais pour un bon repos pendant les vacances parfait aussi pour les enfants. Avec beaucoup de chance nous reviendrons. Merci à toute l’équipe."

"Very neat old house in the garden of the abbey and next to the house of the property owner. Very warm welcome, great parking spot for the car and walking distance to the local boulangerie and shops. Good location for champagne wine tours. The towns (Essome-sur-Marne as well as Chateau-Thierry) are not as lovely as the small villages on the Montagne de Reims. Great walking routes in the area with lots of WWI and WWII historical sites."
