"What an incredible find! This eco hotel is truly a unique gem. The accommodations were amazing, and the property itself was absolutely gorgeous, with a beautiful pool and so much to explore. We loved the hiking trails, the taco and margarita hut, and the tejo court - there was always something fun to discover. (Words really don't do it justice!) In addition to the amazing property, what really made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service. The employees were so warm and welcoming and genuinely made us feel like family. As we checked out, we had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, which was such a treat. He was incredibly down-to-earth and personable, and his enthusiasm for sharing the story of how the hotel came to be made the experience feel even more special. This is truly a one-of-a-kind place, and we can't wait to return time and time again. Highly recommend!"

"No complains! It was challenging for us to get there during the earthquake of 2026. They were incredibly helpful, welcoming and accommodating. It’s incredible how they went above and beyond through such an emergency. I agree with all the other good comments. About the breakfast: I prefer made to order with a smaller menu than immense buffets. Their breakfast hits the right spot… even during the earthquake emergency. About the wifi: it was slow, yes. But hey… we just used the phone to take amazing pictures of our walk around the property: birds, fruit, flowers, landscape…. You can even see the tower of parque nacional del café. Take the pics and upload them later to your insta. Thanks everybody!"

"I had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Monaco in Armenia, Colombia. The hotel is in an excellent location, right on a pedestrian walkway with plenty of shops, restaurants, and other businesses just steps away. There is a grocery store, dollar store, and several places to eat nearby, and a shopping mall is only a few blocks away. It was very convenient to just walk out of the hotel and have almost everything I needed close by. The service was excellent and available 24 hours a day. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and I also found the people throughout Armenia to be very friendly and welcoming. Another big plus was the value. The hotel was very reasonably priced, and I found restaurants, shopping, and other everyday expenses in the area to be very affordable as well. The only negative I would mention is that the hotel does not have an elevator. The rooms are on the second and third floors, so anyone who has difficulty climbing stairs should take that into consideration. Overall, Hotel Monaco was a great value in a very convenient location. Good service, friendly people, plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance, and reasonable prices. I would definitely stay here again."
