"The place was many kilometers with switchbacks, away from Resende, a shack with an open green front door. We could not even scale the driveway. The tires on car kept spinning. "We loved staying at this home! The location is perfect, tucked away in a vineyard. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths accommodated our group perfectly. Check in was difficult. We were not able to arrive in the 2 hr window that the host was there. They left the keys in the lock, but we didnt have parking information and couldnt reach the host via phone or VRBO. "My wife and I celebrated our 25 year wedding anniversary at the Quinta. It's location made it convenient to visit local museums, wineries and Churches. The location also allowed us to explore many nearby small towns for amazing meals and to meet lovely people. Porto is only ~1.4hrs by tollway, which is 90% of the travel. "If you’re looking for a quiet, clean, and relaxing place to stay, this was the best! The staff was so kind and accommodating. They do everything to make you feel at home (including fresh baked pastries and great breakfast). Our room felt very private and very comfortable. It is a beautiful hotel and I highly recommend. "
