"Cosmo Hotel Palace from 14-16th April 2026. Overall experience was disappointing. Lifts were extremely slow, 2 out of 3 not working, causing major disruption, especially while travelling with two young children. Service at checkout was also poor, requested help with luggage but was left to manage eight bags and a stroller alone. From outside building looks good, lobby looks good but the rooms are dated and smelly. For a hotel of this level, the experience felt unprofessional and below expected standards. I spoke to hotel for a potential refund and they straight away refused."

"Checking in the staff member was rude and arrogant. Checking out the staff member was lovely however. The room itself was fine. Air-con was broken as well as shower door and sink plug. It was liveable and reflected the price but things could have been better. "

"Location was ok, around 1000 metres from the lake, reception staff were excellent but breakfast staff were bordering on ignorant and rude especially the main guy Overpriced for what it is but the breakfast manager was just rude and would avoid Concierge on the morning was excellent"

"Everything about this property was wonderful. The fact that it had parking made things very convenient. The welcome reception was lovely and the room was small which was expected, had an absolutely gorgeous view of the lake. The breakfast buffet was complete at the atmosphere at the bar and breakfast area. Also had a fantastic vibe and view of the lake. Strongly recommend this property"
