"We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together"

"Our stay was ok, however the central heating switched off every 15 minutes and tripped the consumer unit, i had to reset it many times to keep warm in such a lovely cottage, this spoilt it for us unfortunately. If the heating had stayed on we would rate this cottage very highly. We contacted the customer service office many times over the week but the problem was not resolved and nobody seemed to understand the issue, they just came in and reset the central heating switch in the consumer unit...

"This really is a stunning property, it is well catered for families and dogs too. The location is spot on and there is tons to do around the area with amazing walks and scenery to local markets and nice restaurants and pubs. Jo is a fantastic host and we can't wait to get back there next year. "This was a fantastic cottage with all the mod cons and incredibly clean, lovely beds and towels and biscuits and milk left for us also.We did think there would be a back garden with grass as we had taken our little dog with us but there was'nt. My husband did find a very large field with right of way about 2 mins walk away so little dog loved it so not so much of a problem. "

"The Potter's House was very charming with nice original features; the bedroom was good and comfortable; the bathroom worked well though was two floors down, so interesting in the middle of the night! It sleeps 4, but we found it pretty cosy for 2. Kitchen well equipped. Fab welcome basket of bread, milk, cookies and a nice bottle of fizz. Parking was okay once we figured out where the long stay lot is - but there is free 2 hour parking in the market just across the road. So very convenient...

"The Old Brewery is im the beautiful medieval market town of Richmond. There are numerous walks in the area, several delightful pubs amd restaurants, and it is a great base for exploring North Yorkshire. The property itself, though, needs some work. The kitchen and dining room are beautiful. The living rooms are extremely comfortable (with the exception of one chair). The bedrooms and bathrooms each have their quirks and drawbacks. We had to repair one bed during our stay. Several doorknobs were...
