"Very Basic hotel, several stagg, hen and school parties at hotel, But for price paid would of expected a hairdryer, and iron in the room, and possibly breakfast to be included. You would be much better going to a B&B unless you are in a large group."

"Conventional hotel, nice but nothing more. If you are looking for somewhat tipical it isn't the right place; ok if you want to stay in an hotel chain. Quite clean, kind staff. The location is really central and easy to find. "

"Have stayed at the park plaza many times and put many touring artists up there. It's very convenient for the station and the staff are lovely. The decor is beginning to look a bit tired and there's a lot of construction outside at the moment (hence tiny marks down on one or two areas). All in all, a great hotel with stunning views. It's great value and right by the station. "

Historic elegance

"Selected for convenience but appreciated historic elegance. I was traveling by train and bus, and it was perfect for both. Friendly, helpful staff. Smallish room, but I associate that with time period. Had similar experience at Chicago's Palmer House from same time period. Enjoyed my stay."
