Wonderful!!!

Three families shared this house and we all had an incredible time! The house was clean, well equipped with everything we needed and the host was extremely friendly and helpful with anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Lake/Pool Stay

This is our 3rd time staying at the Sunset Lodge. Easy check in. We have 3 young ones 2-5 and 8 years old, and they love the indoor pool. It's nice that it is close to Wisconsin dells, that was a nice little road trip.

This is our second time of staying at the sunset lodge. It is perfect for our family. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of games, beds very comfortable. Owners very responsive and checking to make sure if there is anything we need. Indoor pool a winner!

What a wonderful place to bring your family. Other than your clothing and personal items your worry free for your stay. We were able to meet the owner Pat, Who happens to be the nicest guy on the plant. I highly recommend this rental to everyone!

Awesome Place beautiful views

we had a large group in both homes with a large number of kids and adults. It was an excellent experience for everyone and the amenities were awesome. Definitely planning a return in the future.

Fun Property for the family

This was a great place to stay with our family of 13. So much to do for everyone. The pool was wonderful to have when the weather made us stay inside. Pat was very responsive when we needed him. We will go back in the future.

Wonderful cabin!

Our stay at this Vrbo property was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. One of the biggest highlights was the indoor pool—it was clean, warm, and such a fun bonus for both kids and adults. We spent hours swimming and relaxing without worrying about the weather outside.The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, providing clear instructions and great local recommendations. The location was peaceful but still close to shops, restaurants, and attractions. We truly didn’t want to leave and are already planning our next visit. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with the added luxury of a private indoor pool!

All the space you could ask for

We enjoyed an extended family get together here, and had room to spare. There are plenty of beds for a large gathering. Kids enjoyed the trampoline and indoor pool. The latter was especially helpful as there was pretty heavy green algae in the lake during our stay, although it got better at the end of our time. Kitchen was well appointed, and we took advantage of the grill and firepit outside. Great location for a peaceful stay on the water all year round.

Home away from Home

This was our 3rd time we rented for a week for family vacation. The best place we ever stayed at. Even if you have rain, the day is not spoiled you can swim and enjoy a game of volleyball in the pool, visit an arcade at the Dells or just hang out at one of the spacious areas and play games. A great addition to this rental is the poker room, hot tub and pool table. The hosts are so attentive to any questions you might have. An awesome place to make those memories

Christmas 2024

Everything was very nice and very well stocked. Never ran out of the items listed and all the appliances and pool were in good shape. I know that it being winter most people wouldn’t grill out or use the outside griddle but we did and the tanks were empty so we just got our own. The pool table not having a rack would be my only other concern. But we really enjoyed the property.

Fantastic rental

We loved our weekend stay. Plenty of comfortable beds for everyone. The kitchen was so well stocked. We had everything we needed for preparing meals. The extra refrigerator downstairs was very convenient for holding beverages. The pool table was a hit, plus there were plenty of games and puzzles for us to use. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and the fire pit. The house is beautiful, but the biggest hit was the indoor pool. The kids and adults all enjoyed it. We had so many fun volleyball games. It was a perfect rental for our family end of summer getaway.

Log Cabin in Arkdale

This was our annual family vacation which included 8 adults and 3 kids and is the one time a year we are all together. Home was exactly as pictured, well stocked and right on the lake with beautiful sunsets. As expected pool and the lake with its inflatables were a big hit with all. Most of the group headed into the Dells just one day preferring to spend time at the house. Pat was a great host and readily available for questions. We have never gone to the same place twice but all agreed they would be happy to come back here! Thanks again Pat for a great family vacation, Lynn

Wonderful House for Large Family Group

This is a great rental for a large group. It has many wonderful amenities, especially the indoor pool which is especially fun on rainy days, great space as well as a wonderful view. Both the owner and property manager were very nice and helpful. My only negative comment is that there are quite a few small repairs that needed to be made. Also the online listing should to be updated as there is no longer a sand beach or a rooftop deck which are shown online. in spite of the small things, it is a great rental and we would go back to Sunset House again.

4th of July

The house is huge. We only had 2 families of 4 and it could have held way more. The pool was great to have indoors as well as the lake right outside with sandy bottom. We were hoping for the sand beach in front of the house but that was not there. Must've been an old picture. But all in all the house was great for families and we had a great 4th of Julyv weekend.

Nice lake front property

We enjoyed the lake and pool. The indoor pool was a nice option for poor weather days. The property was clean with plenty of beds for all ages. The drive to the Dells was more like 50 minutes vs 30 minutes. However, we enjoyed being out of the busy locations at the Dells.

Great winter get-away

Our family of 20 enjoyed Sunset Lodge tremendously! The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms so roomy and tastefully decorated. The kids enjoyed the pool and the adults the hot tub and pool table. We would definitely book this place again!

50th Wedding Anniversary Celebrated by Three Generations

With 20 people from age 5 to 75, it was definitely a mixed group, but there was something for everyone. From the indoor pool to the hot tub and whirlpool to the firepit, we didn't lack for things to do. Karen, the manager, was most helpful. It was wonderful to be together for three days and see the family bonds strengthen with all the fun and laughter as well as new shared memories.

Family Christmas Vacation

The property is clean, homey and very well stocked with the necessities. The floor plan is broken out so that we could all be together or find spots for quiet time Karen, the inn keeper, was so, so helpful. The view is breathtaking as it overlooks the lake. Who doesn’t want their own pool! We are going back next (this) year
