"We stayed at Villa Clementina for three nights and loved it there. The service was exceptional. Richard greeted us at the bus stop and took us through the private garage where a golf buggy was waiting to take us and our luggage on the short journey up the hill to the Villa. As we checked in Richard told us about the history of the area and Villa. He was very passionate and knowledgeable and it was a lovely way to start the stay. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean, well maintained and had a powerful shower. The room had a balcony that overlooked Lake Como, which was nice to sit on at relax. The infinity pool area was quiet and relaxing, as was the hot tub and garden areas. All of which were overlooking the lake. The breakfast was amazing! The eggs and bacon were cooked to order and there was plenty of choice with cereals, pastries and fresh fruit platters. The homemade croissants were a particular favourite. The staff were very attentive and Richard would stop and have a chat in the morning and give us tips about the places we were visiting. On our departure day we were given a bottle of Lake Como olive oil, which was an unexpected but lovely touch. Richard’s wife even drove us to the train station in Como so that we wouldn’t have to wait for a bus. We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Clementina and would definitely stay there again."

"The location of this hotel right on the water, with its beach and dock to swim in the lake, was the highlight of our stay. Close to everything in town as well, easy to jump on the ferry or bus."

"We had a fantastic stay. The location is great though you do need a car in order to pick up groceries and get to restaurants. Lovely local walks and down the hill to swim in the lake if you don't want to use the fantastic pool. Apartment was great though third bedroom is very small with no windows but a good extra space for overflow people if needed. We had a lovely stay, the apartment is very well set up with everything you need to relax and enjoy the amazing views and accommodation."

"Superb apartment on Lake Como in the quiet Lezzeno village. The updated apartments are well designed and very comfortable. The pool is simple and charming and the lake views from all of it are amazing. There is a little dock in front of the place that you can use to board a private boat tour or taxi. This is a major selling point that should be shared as part of the listing. We were happy to avoid the Bellagio mayhem and spend a peaceful couple of days here. "

"Look no further. This Lake Como villa was a dream! Host, Francesco’s hospitality was above and beyond! The villa is everything the photos show & more! The views are spectacular & town of Argegno is so quaint! Umberto prepared the most delicious birthday dinner with the help of Claudio. Must do! Paolo’s boat tour of the lake was so wonderful, with stops at Bellagio & Varenna! We can’t wait for our return! Ciao Francesco, until next time!! "
