"The hotel is set up for old school corporate. Rooms are no frills but clean and warm. A bed, TV and bathroom which is all a bit tired. A lovely location and a good breakfast. The reception team are very efficient."

"Rooms are clean and tidy. Shutters on the windows are brilliant if you need proper darkness to sleep. The fridge is stocked with water and some fruit juice and Cola. Area is quiet and not busy so no big noise issues. Temperature is the rooms is perfect."

"The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and was the unanimous favorite place we stayed on an amazing trip. The rooms are well appointed, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The entire staff was made up of warm, friendly, and helpful people. The location could not be better, set on the Ahr River and the gorgeous town full of shops, restaurants, and cafes. The hotel's restaurant and bar were excellent, as was the included breakfast. I highly recommend this fabulous hotel!"

"The room was well appointed. I wish the air conditioning went a little cooler, but that was a common issue in Germany (not specific to this hotel). The room was very clean. The hotel offers an expensive laundry service, where they charge per article of clothing. We were traveling for a couple of weeks and needed to do a load of laundry so this was not an appropriate option for us. I wish they had self service laundry. The closest laundromat was almost an hour away."

"Room was very spacious and clean. There is little to no phone coverage/internet that works very well but this seems to be a whole of Germany thing. The gardens are lovely and the room had all amenities needed."

"Hotel was ok, but could be better. Mattress was very thin and umcomfortable. Duvet was oddly smaller than the size of the bed which made it difficult to use. It was twin sized while the mattress was queen sized. Maybe it’s a German thing. The air conditioning had an administrative lock on it so the room never got below 24 degrees even though I had the system set to 19. There were several large spider webs in my room and a big clump of hair on the bathroom floor. Not very clean. Staff was nice though."
