Fantastic view of the ocean!

Klevsund has been our family cabin for over 60 years.
A true vacation paradise awaits you here—with a cozy barbecue area, private docks, many beautiful islands, and a breathtaking ocean view.

The cabin is a typical Norwegian summer house with “summer water,” meaning there is running hot and cold water during the season. There are two showers: an outdoor shower by the dock, which is supplied with water via a hose and warmed by the sun—ideal after a swim in the sea. The second shower is also a type of outdoor shower, but it has walls and a transparent roof, as well as hot water from a boiler. The water pressure is a bit low, but sufficient for showering and washing your hair.

The bathroom and toilet are located in a small outbuilding near the cabin. Please note that this is not a traditional flush toilet, but an eco-friendly dry toilet.

The cabin was recently renovated and features a new, spacious kitchen, a new master bedroom with a new mattress, and freshly painted, bright interiors.

A perfect spot for nature lovers who appreciate being close to the sea and want to experience the special atmosphere of a Norwegian summer cottage.

Two sea kayaks and a small 8-foot Pioner dinghy (ideal for children) are available for use free of charge. You also have the option to rent an Askeladden boat (15 feet, 25 PS) with an outboard motor. Since the boat is provided free of charge, the owner assumes no liability for any technical issues.

There are several public beaches, small islands, and beautiful hiking areas on Øyna and Tromøy in the surrounding area. The zoo and water park in Kristiansand, as well as golf courses, are just a short drive away. A grocery store is located about 4 km away, and the center of Arendal is about 13 km away.

Luggage and groceries can also be transported by boat if needed.
