"We only spend one night in that hotel and we thought it was great. We ate in the restaurant and it was very good. The room was big and clean as was the bathroom. A minor problem about the bathroom was that the blind could not be wound down, as the mechanism was broken, and although the window was opaque glass, with the light on we felt a little exposed. "Good hotel if you're just looking for a place to sleep, since you’ll probably be out exploring most of the time. It’s not a 5-star property, but it does the job for a night or two. Staff were friendly and the location is spot on — about a 10–15 minute walk to the lake and the center of Thun. Parking is available right next to the hotel and it’s affordable, but make sure to have some Swiss Franc coins on you."

"Located next to Thun castle, topmost attraction in town. Still quiet and and sublime. Best sauna/spa I've ever been. Breakfast included and excellent. We also dined at the restaurant and it was our best meal in Switzerland . Commendations to service from Herbert and Patrick. Simply Superb!"

"This is a “must stay and relax” type of place. The staff is incredible, the customer service is superb and the amenities (spa. Swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, boating, biking, etc.) is fabulous. The property is lakefront with amazing views. It is centrally located to visit several cities and easy parking. Highly recommend and the four restaurants are so good. Great time and will visit again! "So amazing! This is an authentic chalet tucked in the mountains. It’s a quick drive to Lauterbrunnen or there’s a free bus. I love the little grocery market that’s across the street. Just a stone throw away. This market has famous croissants that are a regional favorite.. but don’t eat too many because the breakfast at this hotel is great. The staff was very polite. The only thing I would encourage them to do is provide coffee in the rooms. They do have teabags in the hallway and water kettles...

"Central and great location - short walking distance to marina, beach, restaurants, and public pool that overlooks Lake Thun. The hotel shares an outdoor garden space with neighboring hotel, and it is a great experience to sit in the lounge chairs and enjoy the beautiful views which overlook the lake and marina below. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very eco conscious and more minimal with amenities but the location, cleanliness and comfort of hotel are worth the stay. If...
