"Wonderful, friendly welcome and very well trained staff - just the right balance of attention and interaction. Very comfortable with quality surrounding us. Food excellent with a detailed explanation of dishes & wines. Lovely views over the Loch and walks within the grounds. Expedia had failed to pass on our booking to the hotel so we were not expected but staff recognised it was Expedia's failure but even so were apologetic and upgraded our room !"

First name terms within minutes of meeting with everything all prepared ready! Rooms are basic but are clean, warm & with comfy beds. Entirely suitable for a few nights stay, as the friendliness outweighs any of that. Food is great, served with a smile, humour, or a story! A great place! "
