"This was a solid hotel on our way to Isle of Skye. The construction outside wasn't known until after the booking. And while not horrible, they started moving equipment about 45 min before 8am when the work was to start. We knew it would be rustic and it was. No frills but solid hotel. Beds were very hard though."

"The host was very friendly and has taken the time to think about all the little details that made the short stay lovely. Beds were comfy and the breakfast was plentiful. The view from the front lawn was amazing."

"Nice views of the sorrounding mountains. Had a good quiet nights sleep Wasn't too keen on the cooked breakfast."

"No elevator. Old carpet stairs and halls squeak and creek. Very warm rooms. Windows open but no screen so could not leave open for bugs. Pool facilities was nice. Loved the adult only hours!"

"We stayed in the pods. It is not loch view. They are in a garden. So there is no view other than the pods. The bathroom are so small so you have to remember to take the loo roll out before you shower because they will get wet. Dinner was ok. And staff were good :)"

"We stayed 5 nights at the hotel as part of our Scottish holiday celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We couldn’t fault anything about the hotel. The staff were super attentive and helpful, the food was absolutely delicious and the room was lovely. The location was fantastic although the weather put paid to any chance we had of sitting in the grounds. If you get the opportunity to stay at the Glenfinnan House Hotel then do take it. An absolutely wonderful get away location."

"Lovely bed and breakfast on the water in Lochaline. Shaley and Peter were gracious and very informative both before and during our stay. Delicious cooked to order breakfast and immaculate spacious rooms. Ferry to mull is a short walk. Highly recommend especially if a nature lover"
