"As a bikepacker, I arrived at the Kilmartin hotel with my bike and bags after a long day riding off-road. The room was excellent. All the facilities I need. The staff was very kind and helpful. The local pub in this beautiful and ancient town was situated in the hotel itself. Perfect for having a well deserved pint! Restaurant was excellent! Same goes for breakfast in the morning."

"This is an older property so don’t expect “modern boutique” style accommodation. The room was clean with nice sea view and the bed comfortable. The room was a bit warm (though that was when Scotland was having a bit of a heatwave - so probably not a common problem!). We had dinner in the Restaraunt and it was excellent. The final part of the road to Crinan is quite narrow which, while it adds to the anticipation, could be challenging if you are unlucky to meet a lot of cars on the single...
