"The property is a 25 minute flat walk to Sorrento. Nice quiet area with some good eateries nearby. You won't often find anyone at the front desk, but there is a bell to ring. The breakfast was okay to start the day. Would be nice to have some cut up fresh fruit. Oranges and apples available. Property and room a bit run down, but pretty clean. Shower pressure and hot water was good. Bed was comfortable but pillows were hard. Amazing views around the corner. Recommend Nazare restaurant in the next property, a bit pricey, but attentive wait staff and great food and views. Our room had a nice view in a weird alcove/closet. Found the staff to be a but aloof. At the time we booked not much available in downtown Sorrento in this price point."

"We loved our stay. Slightly out of Sorrento but that made for a lovely quiet trip but with Sorrento walking distance away. The hotel was modern, clean and with great casual restaurants close by .. but what made it AMAZING was the staff who were without exception WONDERFUL.. helpful, friendly and cheerful.. they were great. One receptionist even walked us to show us the location of a beach club and bar after we asked for recommendations.. we loved our stay and will return."

"An absolutely wonderful place to stay. Large rooms and I’m not sure about all of them, but ours looked right out over the ocean. It was beautiful. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and there was a good assortment at breakfast. We really enjoyed the outdoor terrace in the evening, watching the moonlight shine over the water and seeing the twinkling lights in the distance. Will recommend to anyone heading in this direction and such a nicer place to stay than in Sorrento where the crowds are quite overwhelming."

"The resort was in a great location to visit Sorrento. A call out would be that the pool could have been a bit more heated. Staff was helpful and the food at the restaurant was very good. I would absolutely recommend this place to stay"

"Hotel Cristina was amazing and I wish we were able to stay longer!! We picked an ocean view room and it did not disappoint. On our trip we visited Rome, Florence, Milan, La Spezia and Venice and this bedroom area was the most spacious out of all our hotels. The room also was very cool and we were given two keys so we kept one in our room for it to be cool when we came back. We were out and about for most of our stay so we were not able to enjoy the pool or bar though the breakfast was very good and have a good variety. The shuttle service was nice too and had frequent stops. The only thing I’ll note is though the hotel is in Sant’Agnello, you will need to get off at the Sorrento train station for the shuttle. We had an amazing time and I would definitely stay at this hotel the next time I’m in Italy!"

"Good bits: Everyone working there is friendly, approachable and very helpful We had lunch twice, and the food quality was excellent and cooked perfectly. The rooms are comfortable and clean Good value for money, considering the area that is highly in demand in the summer months. Not so good bits ( for our needs anyway) Wi-Fi is extremely weak, and we had issues during the whole stay. The hosts tried to fix it, but it wasn't great. TV has only 3 English news channels, and it is not smart, so you can't log in with your Netflix, Prime...etc. The area is poorly serviced by taxis, and prices are extortionate. If you are fit and young, you can go up and down the very steep hill, where the place is located, and reach the train station, but if you are on the older side and have mobility issues, it is very hard to move around from there. Lastly, again this is our preference, we had no idea that the place was used also by people not staying in the accommodations, and it seems that the pool is used, also, on a daily pass basis and it attracts a very numerous amount of young children and they have been some evenings that it was very hard to rest because the screams and the running around was so much and so loud. But if you are not faced by the not so good bits , then the place is recommended."
